      Ramanujan Computer Center (RCC) of DMS SVH CE is a centralized computing facility to cater the academic & technological needs of engineering students. It is equipped with latest hardware and software technologies with WiFi enabled facility.

Objectives

  • To provide good computing facility to the Engineering students.
  • To impart training on value based and technological courses / workshops / seminars/ guest lectures to the students for gearing up their employability skills.
  • To facilitate on-line activity through WAN / LAN to conduct examinations offered by University and multi-national companies.
  • Salient features of RCC

    • A server with high end Xeon processor with Ms-windows 2008 platform is networked with one hundred plus windows family clients under the domain name system.
    • An exclusive connectivity to the respective servers from these clients to conduct the Electrical, Civil and Mechanical Engineering laboratories.
    • Value based add-on programs like Workshops/Seminars/Guest Lectures have been conducting in regular intervals of time.
    • Wireless Public Address Audio System is available for conducting Webinars/Online Tutorials through collaborative learning.
    • The printers in sharing mode are available for printing purposes.
    • Regular academic activities as per JNTUK norms

      • A Linux based ‘C’ programming lab is conducted through Telnet for B.Tech first year students.
      • MatLab, Pspice, TASM labs are conducted for EEE students.
      • Auto Cad lab is conducted for Civil and Mechanical Engineering students.
      • Ansys server based Simulation lab is conducted for Mechanical students.
      • JNTUK On-line mid examinations have been conducting for all the branches of Engineering students since its affiliation.
      • Seminars / Workshops / Guest Lectures Conducted till date

        • One Day Workshop on “IBM Blue Mix Cloud based application development” was conducted on 5th November 2015.
        • A popular lecture on “Engineering solutions for Social Problems with Big data Analytics“was delivered by Prof.Gopala Krishna Palem, Chief Research Advisor- Cenacle Research, India on 23rd January,2016.
        • One Day Workshop on“Android Applications Development” conducted by Mr.Ch.Raghu Ram, Software Consultant, London, United Kingdom on 5th March, 2016.
        • A Guest lecture on “Career Planning, Higher Education and job opportunities for Engineering Students” by Dr.K.ViswanadhaSarma, Professor in Mechanical Engineering of JNTU Hyderabad on 21st March, 2016.
